Page and Post TITLE : problems

Hi

I encounter a problem with posts and pages titles.
I am using Elementor Pro
It appears that Page titles are n double . https://dev.plans.fr/construire/comment-faire-construire/
If i disable page title on each page settings “Disable page title” then it displays only one title.
Another problem is that the background is not the one i chose.

I tried to set everything in theme settings (https://dev.plans.fr/wp-admin/admin.php?page=xts_theme_settings&tab=page_title_section) but it wont change anything.
I checkes settings preset but i cannot find anything special related to posts or pages;

The problem is only appearing on our archives for category or tags for instance https://dev.plans.fr/decoration/ or https://dev.plans.fr/tag/abri-de-jardin/
We cannot change the title block ( alignement, background,…)

For the Categories, you can edit the Category pages > there under that you can find the option to upload specific Image for Page Title : https://ibb.co/30CCG6P

Right now, for the Tags there isn’t a specific Image uploading option available. They pick up the Image that you have uploaded under the Theme Settings > Page Title.

The other way around for the Tags is the CSS way to change the Image which can be added in two ways as a global for all Tags or specific for specific Tag pages. If you want to go with the specific ones then you would need to apply CSS for every Tag on your Site and the Global can be done with a single CSS.

If you want to proceed with the CSS then mention us so that we can provide you the CSS for that.

As for 1/ i dont have those options when editing a category. Here is what i have (screen capture)

2/As for tags, that is the problem, the image that is displayed does not show the image that we defined in theme settings.

I guess we can change this with CSS bu t we also need to change the title of the tags archive page. It should not be Archives de tags :”abri de jardin”

1- The option to change the Page Title specifically for Categories is already showing on your Site: https://snipboard.io/3PQKxb.jpg

The Decoration Category link that you earlier shared with us, is not a Product Category on your Site which is why you aren’t able to see the above told option for that.

2- Regarding the Product Tags image concern, it’s quite odd that it is showing an Image which is not added under the Theme Settings. There are multiple third party Plugins enabled on your Site so could you please once try deactivating all the third party Plugins on your Site remaining the Theme required ones activated. If the issue gets resolved, then reactivate them one by one to see which Plugin is causing the issue.

If somehow issue still persists, then please take complete Backup of your Site first, then provide us the permission to completely debug your Site which includes deactivating all the third party Plugins and removal of on-Site Customization changes too, so that we can thoroughly check this issue on your Site and assist you accordingly.

Yes for product category, i have the option…but not for Posts category,, for instance https://dev.plans.fr/decoration/
So where can i change the page title background for those categories. Cause the one displayed is not the one i chose in theme panel.

As for tags, we already tried to revert to normal theme or to descativate all plugins.
It wont change anything.

I just made a full backup. Please do not hesitate to try to debug anything.

Sorry for the earlier misunderstanding. We have now further checked this concern on your Site thoroughly and found out that you have defined a different Preset for the Theme Settings on your Site with the Conditions defined and have used the Image there for the Page Title which is why the changes made to general Theme Settings preset wasn’t taking effect. First, it is not applied to product categories but to project categories ( which are portfolio).

And that is exactly what i am saying. It is defined for portfolio and portfolio categories but not for posts or posts categories.
And i cannot do any change on posts or posts categories.

You can fix it by applying patch # 427405. To do this, go to Dashboard -> WoodMart -> Patcher, find the corresponding patch and click on the “Apply” button. Let us know if it doesn’t work for you.

The thing is on your Site for the Description, you have selected the position After Product Grid: https://snipboard.io/2ibpyc.jpg

And the Extra Description originally appears at the bottom, so that’s why you aren’t able to view the Extra Description content. Try changing the Main Description position then check back the issue again.

For ou post category, we still have a problem with title. For instance on the page https://dev.plans.fr/construction/
We can change the banner but the title is still displayed on the right side. Impossible to put it on left or to make it bigger.

We are using the theme preset settings : https://dev.plans.fr/wp-admin/admin.php?page=xts_theme_settings&preset=120

Also, do you think that usinf multiple preset settings will slow the website ? For instance one preset for each category ( we have 20)

Sorry to say but your WoodMart Theme and WoodMart Core plugin isn’t updated to the latest version. The latest version of the Theme running is 7.1.4 and the Core version running is 1.0.36.

Can you please once try to update your WoodMart theme and Core plugin to the latest version by following the given Theme’s Documentation link: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/update-the-theme/ and then check back the issue again on your Site.

If the issue still persists after updating the Theme and Core plugin, then could you please once try deactivating all the third party Plugins on your Site, remaining the Theme required ones activated. If the issue gets resolved, then reactivate them one by one to see which Plugin is causing the issue. If this doesn’t work for you then once also, try to activate the Parent Theme on your Site if you are using Child Theme on your Site.

It seems to be working now. There were a conflict with the woodmart core plugin not being updated

So, we have thoroughly checked this concern and found out that in your general Theme Settings preset > Custom CSS > Global Custom CSS > there was a certain Custom CSS applied through which the Title text was set to text-align: right which is why even after selecting Left from the newly created Theme Settings preset it was showing on the right. We have removed that text-align property and now the Title appears on the left.

Regarding the Title text size increment, right now after selecting general options for it. It increases to a certain limit. To go beyond that, you can go to Dashboard > Theme Settings (the general one not the specific one) > Typography > Advanced > there select the page-title selector > and then there you can define your choice of font size there for it: https://snipboard.io/AlPWkY.jpg

We just removed all custom CSS and it wont change.
