    an update!
i managed to figure out how to place the categories and image. I have 2 more issues though:
in the shop page i have also added categories.
    1. How can i also add breadcrambs?
    2. Instead of random products under how can i add some representative products from all of the categories?

    thank you

    Hi giannisth,

Thanks for reaching to us and appreciate your patience.

    1. You want to add breadcrumbs under Page Title?

    2. In the Shop page, you want to select specific products of selected categories?

    Regards,

hi, thank you for your reply.
In https://test.texkat.gr/shop/ under the categories and the breadcrumbs, the products appear in random view. Is there a way to start appearing products from other category or is it preset like this?

    Hello,

On the Shop page, WooCommerce displays all products by default, not filtered by a specific category, and the order can vary based on the default sorting option

Navigate to Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Product Catalog > Sorting options > choose the sorting.

Let me know if you’d like to show a specific category permanently on the shop page, or just control the sort order.

hi again, so i followed your instructions and i have setup to show :
    1. both categories and products on shop page
    2. both sub categories and products when a category is selected.
Now i get this result as seen in the screenshot. Is there the ability to place the products under the categories and subcategories in a new row?
Lastly, how do i get rid of this menu?please see screenshot
P.S i have setup for the products to appear in infinite scroll. Does this make the shop page significantly slower?

    Hello,

    01. Navigate to Theme Settings > Product archive > Page title and disable the Categories in page title option https://prnt.sc/OYWustDv8G4Y

    02. If you want to show the categories and products separately on the shop page, You can use the WooCommerce builder of WoodMart, allowing you to create custom templates for Product, Product Categories pages, and other functional pages that are not editable by default.

WooCommerce builder is the inbuilt functionality widget included in the builder you use on the site.

    Hello,

Please navigate to Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Product Catalog and under Shop page displays, select “Show products” only. This will remove the default category display from the shop loop.

Then, edit your product archive layout with a page builder and manually add the Product Categories widget to display categories in a separate row above the products.

This method gives you full control over the layout and prevents categories from overlapping with products.

p.s now the product categories appear on all the product categories pages!!??
i just need it only on the initial shop page

    #671380

    Hello,

Since you’re using a custom layout, to ensure that the product categories only appear on the Shop page (and not on all product category pages), you’ll need to create a dedicated layout specifically for the Shop page only.

In the layout conditions, make sure to select the Shop page and not All Archives.
    See Screenshot for clarification: https://ibb.co/Wp7P9W91

Add the Product Categories widget to this layout as needed. This way, your categories will only display on the main Shop page and not across all category pages.

    great thank you.
one last thing. as you can see on screenshot the categories menu shows without mouseover, which is hiding the categories. how can i set this up to show only on mouse over?
P.S when scrolling down, it is working on mouse over, but not when top up

    Hello,

You can set the “Browse Category” menu always close via the settings of the page (Dashboard -> Pages), at the bottom find the “Page settings” area and turn off the “Open categories menu” option: https://prnt.sc/yzI3g9_6dyye
