Page not editable with Visual Composer

Hi guys,
In the admin edit screen of a page where my layout created in VC used to be, is now gone since the last updates.
I can’t edit anything! Please see the attachment.
I have latest versions of theme and plugins installed.

I even contacted WP Bakery, below is there reply:

Hi Sander,

The issue is because there is a Visual Composer related code present in your theme added by the theme author. You will have to get rid of it. I would advise you to do so with the help of theme author, otherwise you might loose the extra elements added by him. Once this is done, you can install the standalone plugin and it will work fine. Kindly check.

Thank you for your question.

You need to update the theme to the latest version 1.4.1 and also update Visual Composer plugin that comes with our theme in inc/plugins folder because they had an incompatibility issue with WP 4.5 that was fixed in the latest update.
