    Dear,

    https://wpml.org/forums/topic/custom-header-page-specific-settings-arent-being-duplicated-by-wpml-advanced-editor/

I created a ticket on WPML Support to explain them that when we translate a page with WPML Advanced Editor, the Woodmart page-specific settings (like custom header, disable page title …) are not being automatically retrieved in the translated page by default.

If we want those settings to be translated, we have to :
    1) enable “Custom Fields Translation” in WPML > Settings
    2) show “Multilingual Content” in the Page screen options
    3) select “Translate” for EACH setting in EACH page

This is not acceptable. Those settings must be defined on “Translate” by default. Can you please do something about it?

    Thanks
    Simon

    Hello,

Could you please clarify what exactly should we do in our theme to change this mechanism? Have you got any reply from WPML team?

    Kind Regards

See screenshot => if we want those settings to be translated, we have to :

    1) enable “Custom Fields Translation” in WPML > Settings
    2) show “Multilingual Content” in the Page screen options
    3) select “Translate” for EACH setting in EACH page

Woodmart should give instruction to WPML to define the page-specific settings (shown in the screenshot) as translatable by default.

Yes, it is how the WPML works and we can’t change anything here.
