AlanDavidRobbParticipantI just bought the theme and have been working with it for a week. The biggest bug I have come across so far is stopping me from working. Every time I open a page to work on it now (products too) the title and slug change themselves to Contact and contact-2 respectively. I can open 10 products and they all change to Contact and contact-2. What gives?

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Thank you very much for choosing our theme and contacting our support.
Your site is under maintenance and we cannot view it. if you create a page with the title “Contact” and it gives slug “Contact-2” It means that such page already exists (in trash maybe) and that is why “2” is automatically added as there may not be two pages/posts /product with an absolutely equal slug. if you create a page with any title but it always gives slug “contact2” it is the bag of the third parties plugins not related to the theme, deactivate them all and activate one by one to find out which one causes the problem.
Best Regards

AlanDavidRobbParticipantDear Elize,
After 19 hours of waiting, unable to move forward, there is still no email from Xtemos in my inbox, as promised, and no replies noted when looking in my account here. The only way I know you replied is because I searched the support posts for my post. Not cool.
I am not CREATING new pages, I am OPENING existing pages, products and posts, which all get renamed “Contact” within a second of opening.
I have deactivated all plugins (see screenshot). Do you want me to deactivate the recommended plugins too? Aren’t they supposed to be work well with the Woodmart theme?
My partner in this endeavor is getting frustrated and time is running out for us.
I have ticked the “Notify me of follow-up replies via email” box below and would appreciate a helpful reply as soon as possible. I don’t want to use another theme, or give a bad review.
Regards

AlanDavidRobbParticipantAfter deactivating almost all plugins, the problem persists. I haven’t deactivated Visual Composer, CMB2 or Redux Framework. Friggin irritated and still wasting time. Looking forward to solving this one.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Could you please disable all plugins that are not related to our theme and provide us your admin access so we can check it?
Thank you in advance

AlanDavidRobbParticipantHi – thanks for the reply. I love the theme and really would like it to work.

Artem TemosKeymasterWe just walked through a few pages and products but no one was renamed as you said. Could you please provide us with a step by step instruction on how to reproduce the problem?
September 26, 2018 at 11:33 am #79166
AlanDavidRobbParticipantI just logged in and opened a few pages to edit (all published pages in this case). You need a video clip to see what happens! In the WP backend, I open the page Home from the All pages screen… the page opens with Home in the title field, then changes to Contact after half a second to a second. And you say it doesn’t happen with you. Using my username and password. So what could it be? My desktop pc I am working on might have a bug itself?
UPDATE: Its browser related. Doesn’t happen in Firefox. The problem happens in Chrome.September 26, 2018 at 12:20 pm #79177
Artem TemosKeymasterOK, so we should open the page for editing? We tried to open it on frontend. Please, send us a step by step tutorial. We are testing it in Chrome too.

AlanDavidRobbParticipantChrome is running very very slow. Might be one of the extensions I have activated. Or I have been hacked in one way or another. Even with ESET.
September 26, 2018 at 1:45 pm #79200
Artem TemosKeymasterIt seems to work correctly for us. Anyway, will you send us a step by step instruction? How should we check the real problem with names?
September 26, 2018 at 2:49 pm #79212
AlanDavidRobbParticipantI don’t know what to say further. Thanks for the help.
