Parallax Row Sections

Hi there,

Your theme has been a dream to work with so far! My client has seen another website that has a Parallax Row effect that they love. Could you please have a look at http://melangestore.co.za/ and tell me if it’s possible with your theme to achieve this? Where the sections sort of scroll over each other as you scroll down.

Yes, you can use Visual composer built in parallax feature. To use it you need to edit your page in admin panel, add a row to the page and edit it. There you will be able to enable parallax effect and upload background image for this row.

Thanks. There are some issues though. On the home page, for instance, I have set the newsletter section to Parallax. Now the content of that section disappears when you scroll down to that section. Instead of the other way around. How do I change this?

Could you please also provide us your admin access so we will take a look what is wrong with this row?

Hi. I am not sure if I am explaining properly what I’d like to achieve. On the example website, http://melangestore.co.za/, the rows are set to “reveal” as you scroll. It’s not just a normal parallax effect. Can I not achieve that?

We have just added parallax background for the newsletter section. It is the only one possible parallax effect that comes with Visual Composer. Please take a look and write us if it is ok for you.

I’m afraid that is not at all what I am looking for. Did you look at the other website?

Yes, we saw the example. But this is the only one parallax effect that you may use with Visual Composer at the moment. We will take into account your messages and and try to introduce our own parallax function in the future updates.

As an alternative solution you can use Revolution Slider parallax feature. It is a bit complicated but much more powerfull. Here is an example what you can achive https://revolution.themepunch.com/wordpress-search-form-hero/

If you could work it into your next update, that would be great! This project is only stopped from being complete by this one thing.

Next update will not include this feature since we already have a tasks list for it. It may be introduced in 2.5 or even 2.6 version. Unfortunately, we can’t say you the exact date.
