PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT

    Hello team,

    I’m trying to update the Woodmart Theme to the latest version available, and get this error:
    PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

    Which settings do I need to change in order for the update to work?

    Hello,

    Please follow the following steps to update the theme:

    Please make a complete backup of the website before updating the theme.

    1. Go to Dashboard -> WoodMart -> Theme License and deactivate the theme.

    2. Go to Dashboard -> Updates and click on Check Again.

    3. Activate the theme with your purchase code again.

    4. Try to update the theme via Appearance -> Themes or via Dashboard -> Updates.

    If you are still unable to update then provide FTP and admin panel login details of the website to check it myself and help you out accordingly.

    Hi, thanks for your quick reply!

    I have done all the steps suggested, unfortunately the same error occurs:

    PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

    There is also another issue with the current theme, for example, if you go to the contact page and try to send a message, the success or failure messages from CF7 don’t appear anymore, so the customer has no idea if the message has been sent or not. I thought that maybe updating the theme will do the trick.

    Hello,

    Thank you for updating the theme! Would you be kind to tell me how you did it? And also, I have checked the success and failure CF7 messages on this particular page:

    but they still don’t appear upon sending the message.

    Do I need to open up a new ticket for this matter?

    Hello again 🙂

    Thank you for trying to check the errors. Are you please able to fill in all the forms as it appears that the success messages don’t show up at all. I have cleared the cache and also tried from another computer, but this is all I get… (please view attached file)

    I don’t really get the bottom message on yellow background at all. Also, the messages are not arriving in my inbox at all …

    Hello,

    I saw the screenshot you attached and visited your website again. There seems to be an issue with the contact form plugin as it is displaying the error message all the time.

    Please check the functionality by activating some default WordPress Theme just to check whether the issue is with our theme or not.

    Thank you for your reply!

    I have installed the https://ro.wordpress.org/plugins/easy-wp-smtp/ plugin and now the CF 7 sends the messages to the email address configured in the plugin. (which is one I currently have access to)

    Unfortunately, the yellow success or failure CF7 messages still don’t show up… I’m amazed they did on your end, as I’ve tried different browsers and computers and cleared the cache and it still doesn’t show up… (I’ve also deleted all the additional CSS from the website and it still didn’t show up – then, I added it back)

    Please let me know how we can get it back to work.
