PHP 8.1 compatibilty error

Hi

I’m using currently PHP 8.0 and latest version of Woodmart theme and Woocommerce. I’m trying to upgrade my php version to 8.1 My hosting service provides a compatibility test feature before upgrading php versions. That compatibility test is showing error related to theme. It indicates this file path:

/chroot/home/ab908bea/abcdef.nxcli.net/html/wp-content/themes/woodmart/inc/admin/modules/options/controls/group/class-group.php

Can you please guide should I wait for theme upgrade, or this error should be ignored?

Please, disable all plugins that are not related to our theme and provide us with your admin access. We will log in and check what is wrong there. You can leave only the following plugins that are required for our theme:
WoodMart core
WooCommerce
Elementor/WPBakery page builder

We don’t see any PHP errors on this page. Could you please clarify how to reproduce the error?

As I mentioned earlier, the errors came on hosting dashboard side, when I try to upgrade php version. Nothing breaks or error on frontend side.

In this case, we need to have a real-time access to your error logs.

For that housing access required. I have attached the compatibility report SS that’s all we get everytime… nothing on frontend. Also, can you please confirm woodmart theme and php versions compatibility? If 8.1, 8.2 or 8.3 are totally okay with theme then we can ignore these.

Yes, it is fully compatible with PHP 8+. Please, update the theme to the latest version and apply the patch in WoodMart -> Patcher to fix the error from your screenshot.

only 1 patcher is available, what if this patcher doesn’t require, and applying it anyway may cause other issue?

You have 7.4.0 version of the theme installed. Please, update it to the latest version 7.4.2 first. Then you will see patches for the latest version.
