PHP error

After a fresh WordPress installation and installing Woodmart, I cannot use the theme file editor for php files (functions.php). Error is: Unable to communicate back with site to check for fatal errors, so the PHP change was reverted. You will need to upload your PHP file change by some other means, such as by using SFTP.

I disabled all plugins, hosting settings allow everything, I have multiple sites with exact setup and no issues.
Other (default themes) are editable, just not Woodmart.

I removed the WordPress installation and reinstalled, then installed Woodmart again and still same issue.
What is happening?

Please deactivate all the 3rd party plugins and activate only theme-required plugins on the site and then check the issue. I am sure your issue will be solved. Then Activate the 3rd party plugins one by one and check which plugin is creating the issue for you.

Otherwise, if the issue still exists then keep the 3rd party plugins deactivated and let me know I will further check on your site and give you a possible solution.

Thanks, it was still happening with all plugins disables, but it was a DNS error, not a specific theme issue. We thought it’s theme related, because we were allowed to make changes to the default WordPress theme.
