Hello,
There is an error showing in my theme status for the PHP Max Input Vars. It says ”
6144 Minimum required value 10000″. I will attach a screenshot.
I contacted my host, as they handle the PHP settings for my account. This was their reply:
the PHP warning from Woodmart, we set max_input_vars to 6144, which can’t be changed. The default value for this is 1000, so we already set it 6x’s higher. Generally, there should be no need to set this higher as the site would need to have over 6k form input fields on a page for it to be a problem.
Woodmart may be suggesting a higher value to potentially prevent issues. Unless you are experiencing issues where you have more than 6k input fields on a form/page and the data is not saving correctly, it is a warning that can be ignored.
You can view all of our PHP environment values here: https://wordpress.com/support/php-environment/
I just want to make sure this is okay. I am not noticing any errors or issues, but I don’t want to encounter any either. Can you confirm that I can safely ignore this?
Thank you!
