PHP update: website is up to date – WordPress theme running old version

I tried to install the shipcloud plugin for our webshop, but due to an outdated php version, the plugin won’t run without the update to a newer version.
Hosting provider shows newest version for all pages: 7.4
Wordpress health check shows: 7.0.33-0+deb9u6
How to update the theme?

PHP is a server technology and not a part of our theme. And if you need to update it you can contact your hosting provider for help on this matter.
