placeholder menu with html block

Hi how to have a placeholder menu (no click redirect) with html block ?
i tried to add a custom menu but it has no option for html block.

Your question is not clear enough. I see you have added a menu item and set “Full-width” below the “Full-width” you see the drop-down with HTML blocks, choose the one you want to show on this menu item. You can show any content in the HTML block links, texts, images even products.

What do you mean (no click redirect)?

yes, the menu works well on hover the HTML block is showing.
i want to prevent click on menu that goes to another page.
usually this is done using a placeholder custome link menu with # in the address.
but when you use the custom menu, you can’t use HTML block. is this more clear ?

The custom link works in the same way as any other menu item.

1. Add the custom link and save

2. Set the “Full-width” or “Set size”

3. Chose the HTML block and set the “Open on mouse event” on hover http://prntscr.com/o4am2g
