Plugin Kadence WooCommerce Email Designer and Basel theme child issue

Hello,

I am struggling to use the plugin Kadence WooCommerce Email Designer by Kandence WP with the Basel child template.

I have contacted the author and here is his answer :
“Hey, Your child theme is overriding the templates, our plugin can’t edit the templates if you are overriding them in your child theme.
You need to remove them from your child theme if you want this plugin to control the templates.”

Do you have any idea how I can solve that problem so I can use this plugin ?

Hello,

Please navigate to Appearance > Themes and activate the parent Basel theme and check how the plugins work. Most likely the customization code you have added to the child theme prevents the plugins correct work.
