Portfolio issue

Hello,

I have 3 questions:

1. how can I insert a sidebar to portfolio/project page? I tried it by edit page on section “sidebar options” -> “custom sidebar for this page” -> “Magazine sidebar” but it doesn’t work.

2. same question for single portfolio/project page…

3. is it possible to set square image ratio 1:1 on portfolio/project page, like this:

I don’t find any theme settings options…

Hello,

Please create custom sidebars in the Dashboard > Sidebar and set them in the pages and theme settings.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to crop portfolio images.

When I try to create or edit a sidebar (via Elementor) I get an error message concerning “the_content” function. Do you have an idea what occurs that an how to solve it?

You can create a custom sidebar in Dashboard > Sidebar and set via this widget.

thanks, I got it now, how to insert a sidebar widget with elementor into a page.

But the main problem is, that it’s not possible to create or edit any custom sidebars in the Dashboard > Sidebar. As soon as I try to edit a custom sidebar with Elementor, I get the message: “Sorry, the content area was not found in your page. You must call “hte_content” function in the current template, in order for Elementor to work on this page” (see screenshot).

Yes, sidebars are not edited with Elementor. Elementor is the page/post builder.

You need to add widgets into this sidebar in Appearance > Widgets > choose your custom sidebar.

If you want to include something from the Elementor, you need to create an HTML block, add the content, add the HTML widget into this sidebar https://prnt.sc/xicp2y and then add this sidebar in the way I have described above.
