    Hello,

    currently when an image is clicked in the portfolio page, it opens up in a new tab. I am interested in knowing if there’s a way to set it up such that when an image is clicked, it pops up on the same page, with an ‘x’ or close button to close it.

    I am afraid there is no option. Portfolio is a custom post type and it is opened in a new window.

    Are there anyway to customize it? Some thing like Custom CSS or JS
