Possible to use Basel Theme without WooCommerce?

Hello,

I am trying to use the Basel theme without WooCommerce. The problem is that when I disable WooCommerce the server responds with an error 500. I know this used to be possible as I’ve seen it done with older versions of the theme. Is this expected behavior on the newer versions and if so is there a way to bypass it. Thank you.

Yes I see it’s fixed now. Seeing as I am a web developer and very likely to use this theme at work before the next update, What steps can I take to replicate the fix my self?

Better to copy all files from the website where we fixed it. Or wait for the update.
