Blog post type & excerpts for blog posts dont work

Hi there,

I am having some issues with the blog posts:

Blog post types somehow do not work. I want to use the link and quote type.

Also there is no excerpt textarea to enter the preview text. (According to the settings page there should be one: “If you will set this option to “Excerpt” then you are able to set custom excerpt for each post”)

Yould you fix it please.

If you are unable to provide login details then make sure that the excerpt option is enabled from the screen options in the edit blog.

I saw the screenshot you attached.

Sorry the excerpt field doesn’t support the post types you mentioned in the screenshot.

If you want to ask anything else then, Please elaborate with the help of some relevant screenshot what you actually want to achieve to check it myself and help you out accordingly.
