max06accessoParticipantHello,
I activated the preloader function on our website but it doesn’t work properly on the desktop version. There is a slight shift from right to left at the end of the preload. The mobile version looks fine.
On the other hand, are there specific settings or other (css code…) to customize the loading speed and the fade effect?
Please check the link below

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
1) I have visited your website and the preloader is working fine as it should be for both mobile and desktop.
2) Unfortunately, there is no such option in theme settings to change the loading speed and the fade effect.
This requires extra Customization and this is beyond our limitations and support policy.
3) Yes, The Preloader starts loading when the browser gets the first response from the server and it’s normal.
Best Regards.

max06accessoParticipant1) I don’t understand because on our side the middle image is not fixed until the end. It shifts to the left at the end of the loading, which gives a non-flowing effect. We tested on several computers and browsers.
2) Would there still be a possibility to change the color and size of the image? What size and file type do you recommend for a custom image?
3) Agreed. Is the cache of the css and js files of the preloader excluded automatically ? We use wp rocket for the cache management.
Please check our application. It can’t work only on your side
Best Regards

max06accessoParticipantI have also noticed that many users of third party preload plugins recommend excluding js and css files from minification in wprocket.
Should this also be done with the woodmart preload?
Thank you very much for your support

max06accessoParticipantHello,
I come back to you again and confirm that the pre-loading is not working properly. When opening a page, a slight shift of the elements is formed (carousel arrows & Product color attributes). It disappears when you minimize and then maximize the page or by lowering the zoom and then increasing it again.
Here are 3 screenshots to help you understand. You can see that on the product carousel, the color attributes are not fully displayed. We can also see that on the blog article carousel, the arrows are not at the same distance.
Its elements are correctly put back in their place by carrying out the manipulations explained above.
PS: I tried to change the general layout (Width of the site) but it didn’t change anything. I currently use full width content.
I have now disabled the preload function and the items are displayed correctly again.
I know it’s still a beta version. So I’m not going to use it for the moment. While waiting for a correction of the current version.
I thank you

Artem TemosKeymaster1. Please, send us a screenshot of the problem for a better explanation.
2. You can upload any image there. We recommend you to use some GIF loading image.
3. Sorry, but we don’t quite understand what do you mean here. Could you please explain?

max06accessoParticipantHello,
1) As you can see on the captures of my previous message, the arrows and color attributes are not in their place. They are again, since I disabled the preload option in the performance settings.
2) Ok thanks for the recommendation
3) I thought that the css and js minification of wprocket could perhaps influence the proper functioning of the preload option.
I hope we understand each other.
You can now close the subject. We will not activate this option on our site for the moment.
Thank you and good continuation. You are doing a great job
Kind Regards

Artem TemosKeymasterWP Rocket settings should not harm our theme’s performance settings including the preloader. Anyway, feel free to contact us if you will have any extra questions.
