    Hey!

Im having trouble with the price filter. Currently the price filter displays prices set on the back end into the price field. However we are using measurement price calculator which show prices by square feet etc.

How does woodmart price filter calculate the values? Where are these files located?

Also, be free to tell me if you have suggestions if I should try to modify woodmarts price filter, or if you know any other price filters that would work for this use case?

Edit: I would also like to add that with Porto theme this same setup works with their price filter. So it is Woodmart’s price filter that doesn’t take correct values.

Update: I figured I was using the “price filter”, not the “WOODMART price filter”.

I guess the first one is the Woocommerce default?

WOODMART price filter works. However i would like it to be slider. Is this possible to achieve?

Update 2: Seems to be that the default Woocommerce price filter (the slider one) works after i added the “WOODMART price filter”.

On the other page with different side bar the default Woocommerce price filter (the slider one) doens’t fetch the prices correctly.

And what is the most mind boggling is that the default Woocommerce price filter (the slider one) seems to be working even after i removed the “WOODMART price filter”.

    I’ll continue investigating.

Update 3: Nah nevermind I’m just stupid. The price filters don’t work. 😀 So back to square one:

SC attached. I’m trying to filter the price according to the list price.

For example these products cost between 240€-380€ per package (the price in the woocommerce price field). One package contains about 10 square feet of the product (hence 26,46 € / m²).

However the price in displayed in square feet for better UX and i would like the price filter to work accordingly.

    Hello,

Sorry but there is no option in Theme Settings available for that.

It requires customizations and this is beyond our limitations and support policy.

If you read my question you understand I wasn’t asking for you to customize my Woodmart installation.

I was asking where are the files located that affect the price filter, and if the price filter is modified by Woodmart or does it work like in default Woocommerce.

Certainly the functionality and files of Woodmart are part of your support policy?

Then i asked you to provide suggestions how to solve the problem.

I understand if you don’t want to provide suggestions, that I consider only part of good customer support, but I am aware that is not part of your support policy.

    Hello,

This code is from WooCommerce and we don’t know the exact file that influenced this.

And the algorithm itself is not modified by WoodMart. You can check it with the default wordpress theme as well.

    Best Regards
