carintia.esParticipantHi, for some time now, on all the websites I use with Woodmart, the attributes aren’t indexed. We’d like your help.

Hung PhamKeymasterHi carintia.es,
Thanks for reaching to us.
You can use SEO plugins to configure it, you can read more here https://yoast.com/help/yoast-seo-settings-categories-tags/

carintia.esParticipantFirst of all, thank you for your response. I’m an SEO with years of experience. I use Rank Math, so that’s not the problem… the problem is much more technical. The problem goes much deeper. I already have everything perfectly configured in Rank Math to allow indexing of the attributes, but nothing. I sent the URLs through the Google Indexing API and nothing happened either… there must be some problem with the attribute metadata and your issue. Please, take a look at it.

Hung PhamKeymasterHi carintia.es,
Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront to understand if it is our theme’s issue or not?

carintia.esParticipantI’m not going to use a default theme. It’s a store that bills every day and is in production. Google can take days to index, and I’m not going to take any chances. I’ve been having this problem with attributes for several weeks. It doesn’t work with new products or with a blog. It must be something with the theme…
It happens in all stores with Woodmart; it didn’t happen before.
I’m asking you to have the developers perform appropriate checks.

carintia.esParticipantSorry, the translator, with new products, it indexes, with blogs too, with categories too.
The only problem is with attributes, which don’t index.

Hung PhamKeymasterHi carintia.es,
WoodMart theme does not control that. In this case, I kindly recommend you to check it with the default theme, whether the attributes are indexed when our theme is disabled, to finally make sure that this problem is not due to WoodMart theme.

carintia.esParticipantAs far as I know, one of the few themes that allows attributes to be converted into categories is yours, you understand?
And yes, Woodmart controls that, so I’d appreciate it if you could check it out. I don’t want to feel like I’ve renewed support for anything.
Looking at Screaming Frog, I see you may be having issues with the latest updates.

Hung PhamKeymasterHi carintia.es,
I have confirmed with our developers that WoodMart does not have such related-functions. So, please check with default theme first.

carintia.esParticipantThat’s right, your theme doesn’t include that option, it’s woocommerce, amazing
