Problem integrating Mailchimp signup form

I have the MC4WP plugin installed on my site and linked to my mailchimp account. The probkem is that I cannot get the signup form to work.

When I go to MC4WP > Forms there is a preview box where you can see what the mailchimp form looks like. However in this preview box I see just our home page (see screenshot attached). When we try and paste the Mailchimp ShortCode into a page, there is no signup form (you just see the shortcode, but no form).

Strangely on our test site (a copy of the live) we can see the signup form in the preview box (screenshot attached). Also when we add the shortcode to a page the form is shown.

Any idea what the problem is?

Please, provide your site admin access (insert the site credentials into the Private content block under the message area).

Please advise where you insert the form?

Well I am trying to insert the form on just any page. However the issue is that the form is not being created properly in the MC4WC plugin (there is no preview for the form). The preview is showing the home page of our site which it should not.

It’s a live site so I would prefer not to give you backend access. Would it help if I take a screen video?

If I open the browser console, I just see this. Guess none of that would cause this issue?
