marketingdigital-5837ParticipantHi,
We’re having a serious issue while trying to update the Woodmart theme. Every time we try to download the latest version, it fails with the following error:
“Download failed. Unauthorized.”We’ve already followed all the usual steps:
Deactivated the license via Dashboard → Woodmart → Theme License
Cleared the cache and clicked “Check again” under Dashboard → Updates
Reactivated the theme using our purchase code
Tried updating the theme again from both Appearance → Themes and Dashboard → Updates
But nothing works. The same error keeps appearing, and we are completely stuck.
We are working on a clone site currently under maintenance.
Could someone from your team please log into our admin area to help us fix this? We can provide admin access if needed.
Thanks in advance,

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
1. Download the most recent WoodMart version from your ThemeForest account.
2. Go to Appearance -> Themes -> Add new
3. Click on the “Upload theme” button and then choose the theme installable zip file in the form.
4. Click on “Install now.“
5. WordPress will show you information about your existing version. Click on the “Replace current with uploaded” button.Best Regards,

marketingdigital-5837ParticipantHi,
Thank you for the information — I followed the steps you suggested and it worked perfectly.
I’d like to mention something that caught my attention: when I first installed the WoodMart theme, I was never asked to enter the purchase code, neither during the installation nor in the theme settings.
I just want to make sure that the theme is properly activated and correctly linked to my Envato license, so I can receive updates and support without any issues.
Best regards.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
It’s likely that a nulled or unauthorized version of the theme is installed. In this case, please download the official WoodMart theme from your ThemeForest account and reinstall it completely.
This issue can also happen after a website transfer. If that applies, you need to deactivate the license on the previous site and reactivate it on the current one.
Additionally, it seems there might be a permissions issue with folders or files on your server. We recommend uploading the theme manually by following this guide:

marketingdigital-5837ParticipantHi,
Thank you for your response.
I purchased the WoodMart license and downloaded it directly from my ThemeForest account, so I can confirm that I’m using an official version of the theme.
However, during installation, I was never asked to enter the purchase code — neither in the admin panel nor in the theme settings — which I found unusual.
At the moment, we are working on a cloned version of the website, as we’re in the middle of a complete redesign using WoodMart. I’d prefer not to lose all the work and customizations we’ve done so far.
Please let me know how to proceed without affecting the current progress.
Best regards,

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Go to Theme Settings > White Label and enable the Theme license page option. Once enabled, you’ll find the license page under Woodmart > Theme License in your dashboard.

marketingdigital-5837ParticipantHi,
I went to Theme Settings > White Label and saw that the “Theme license page” option was already enabled by default.
The “Theme License” section does appear in the dashboard, but at no point was I asked to enter the purchase code, and I haven’t entered it manually either.
I’m attaching a screenshot so you can see that the option was already active.
Could you please confirm whether my theme is correctly activated with the license? Thanks in advance.
Best regards.
