problem with block widget editor

hi when I add widgets in block widget editor, I always got a error message: There was an error. The response is not a valid JSON response. please see the attached image.

when i go back to classic widget, there is no problem any more. Is it possible that the woodmart theme is not working well with block widget? how can i resovle the issue?
