    Hi

I have a problem with a page displaying a single blog post. I have a German language version of the store, but part of this website (right column) is in Polish (I changed it from this language to German).
    A screenshot is attached

    Hi

I cleared the cache, checked different browsers, but some of the texts are still in Polish (the previous language – already removed from WordPress) instead of German.
Attached is a screenshot (problematic texts in a red frame).
How can I edit the single page and the blog post list page/post category page?

    Greetings
    Szymon

    Hi szymon-0481,

In order to edit blog archive and single layout, please go to Theme Settings > Blog.

Regarding widget titles, you can change these in Appearance > Widgets https://prnt.sc/_Embfte_QisQ

    Hi

    OK, problem solved. Thank you.
I have another question, at what address or how to display the entire blog (all posts from all categories – if that’s even possible). Because for now I can only display a single post or a category of posts.

    Greetings
    Szymon

    Hi

I currently have selected posts on the main page (near the bottom of the page): https://schmiede.stahlco.de/
After entering a specific post, I go to its website, e.g.: https://schmiede.stahlco.de/garten-und-wohnmobel-aus-schmiedeeisen-asthetik-und-einzigartigkeit/ . From here I can go to other posts or to a given category of posts.

However, it is not possible to enter the “blog’s home page” (with all posts and/or categories) from anywhere. I just want to know if/how I can access/create the “blog’s home page”.

Additionally, I noticed that the Blog Archive on post page does not work (divided into months, after clicking on the selected month it redirects me to the main page).

    Hi

I don’t have any page set there. However, I do not have a “Blog archive” page created. How to create it?
Will the address be https://schmiede.stahlco.de/blog then?

    Regards
    Szymon

    Hi szymon-0481,

    1. Create a page called Blog or name it what you want.

    2. Set this newly created page for Your Homepage Displays option from the Settings > Reading. That’s all

    Hi

Ok I see. However, I am curious about one thing.
I have never created a page with blog posts from a given category, e.g. https://schmiede.stahlco.de/category/produkte/, but it exists.
Can I edit it somewhere then?
And why do I have to create a page with all posts when I didn’t have to create a page with posts from categories (and it’s supposed to be the same page, just displaying a different range of posts).

    Regards
    Szymon

    Hi szymon-0481,

I checked the dashboard and there is that category.

In case you want to display posts of specific categories, then you can create new page > use Blog widget and set categories to display its posts.

    Hi

We did not understand each other. What I mean is that the page with post categories (and a single post) is not “created” anywhere (they are not defined in “pages” or “templates”) and they are displayed anyway.
So where does WordPress get the template (not content) for these pages ?

    Hi szymon-0481,

Could you please circle which parts you mentioned for better understanding?

    Thanks for your patience.

    Hi

    Pages available:
page with posts of a given category, e.g. https://schmiede.stahlco.de/category/produkte/
    single post page e.g. https://schmiede.stahlco.de/schmiedetore-aus-stahl-warum-sie-das-tun-sollten/

However, where can I change the template of these pages? I don’t see them defined anywhere in pages or template…

However, if I want a page with all posts, you said that I need to create my own template. This is not very logical.

    Regards
    Szymon

    Hi szymon-0481,

Unfortunately, there are no predefined layouts and options to select them.

If you want to customize layouts, You need to find a third party plugin to achieve more functionality that best suits you.

    Best Regards.
