Problem with category image

I go to category edit page. I upload an image for “Miniature”. Before clicking on the “Use this image” button from the WordPress select media screen, I go to “Edit image”, I rotate (or cut, or flip or whatever!) the image and then clicked on SAVE. Returned to WordPress select media screen I can se my image modified. I click on “Use this image” and I can see my image modified in the edit category screen miniature preview. I click on Save and go to homepage (This is in developmente and I have de imported original page) but the image shown for Category in the category carousel below the slider is the original one I uploaded and not the modified one.
I removed, reuploaded, remodified the image, I also tried to change the image save and chenge the image I want again with no luck. The shown image is ALWAYS the original one! I don’t know why. In my media the shown image is the modified one!

Could you please elaborate what you actually want with some relevant screenshots to check it myself and help you out accordingly. Because your current explanation is not clear enough to understand what issue you are facing.

I don’t know what happened but now it seems to work flowlessly. If the problem arise again I will return here providing screenshots and a more accurate description.
