problem with free gift functionality

I have a problem with freegift functionality, I have excluded some products or categories from the list of required products in the cart, but when adding them to the cart the gift is still automatically added to the cart

Yes, it works correctly since you have “All products” condition. But if you add any of the excluded products alone, the gift will not be added.

What’s the point? If I set cart total min :200 eur. In the Products in cart condition section I specify the product category which should not be totaled to get a gift. and in the end I get that when adding an excluded product the gift is still added?

These conditions are applied to the existence of the products in the cart. It is not applied to the cart total.
