Problem with getting recommended products to the widget

I would like to change my product look and placing sidebar with up sells. I’ve made a sidebar, placed a products widget with featured products option enabled. Product have assigned other products in Linked products tab. Widget is unfortunetlly empty. What am I doing wrong?
Can you help me to find a solution?

You can enable upsells products in sidebar option in Theme Settings -> Product page -> Show / hide elements -> Upsells products position.
