ericdolenkoParticipantHello. I am having an issue with the slider on my website. I cannot get the image to fit within the main site boundaries. As I understand it, the content width is set to 1140px.
I have tried changing various settings and experimented with different image resolutions, but nothing seems to work. My goal is to make the slider width perfectly match the main container of the site. Currently, it either jumps to a much larger size (full width) or stays smaller, as shown in the screenshot. I just can’t get it to align precisely with the boundaries.
I hope you can point me in the right direction or tell me which setting I’m missing to fix this.
Thank you!

February 9, 2026 at 8:32 am #707745Hello,
Navigate to Slides > Edit “Pets slide 1” slide and in the bottom of the slide settings in the image settings, choose the object fit “Fill”. https://postimg.cc/2q0C30bh

ericdolenkoParticipantHello. Thank you for your response, but that wasn’t exactly what I asked for. When I attached the image, I indicated the boundaries where I want the picture to appear. I want the image in the slider to be visible only within the width of my website’s container. The purple background should simply fill the remaining space on the sides.
Please take a closer look at the image. I don’t need to stretch the picture to the full width of the screen; I need to set it to the width of my site. What you suggested is something I have already tried. As I mentioned, I’ve gone through all the settings but couldn’t get it to look the way I need.
I’ve attached the image again. I have marked the boundaries where I want the image to be contained. I hope you can help me with this. Thank you very much for your efforts.

ericdolenkoParticipantThis is the result of your recent changes. Before that, it looked exactly like I showed in the screenshot. For some reason, you used the ‘fill’ option to stretch the image to the full width, even though I described the task differently. I don’t need the image stretched; I need my slide to be within the main website area. I have reverted it to approximately how it was before to show you again.
I’ve drawn arrows on the image to show exactly where I want the slide to be located. The sides can be filled with color, as it happens automatically (if I understand correctly), but the image itself must be within a specific area.
I have already described the task above. I would like you to set up the slide with the dog for me correctly. Once that’s done, I’ll be able to do the one with the cat myself following your instructions. Please also refer to my previous messages; the task is fully described there. In fact, it shouldn’t even need more description—I showed everything and drew the requirements on the screenshot. Thanks in advance.

Please go to Slides > Edit “Pets slide 1” > Image settings and set Object fit.
Explanation:
- Fill > stretches the image
- Contain > keeps the image inside the area
- Cover > fills the area without distortion
- None > no resizing
Also, your slider is stretched.
Please edit it here:
Slides > Slider > Edit slider and disable the “Stretch slider” option:
https://ibb.co/ZRBxS0vzThis will keep the slider and image inside the main site container instead of going full-width.
