It works fine on the front-end, I give your that. But in the backend when editing with elementor is problematic. I agree with OP that it makes it difficult to edit the product you want. Product contents may vary significantly, especially if we need to make a different layout for a specific category for example. When making a layout for a specific product, you need to work with this specific product’s content.

Another easier solution will be to take into account the conditions set in this layout, but I understand that this may create problems if no products match the conditions. Maybe if no products match, the most recently published product appears, like it happens now.
