lebedenko.maximParticipantHello. I’m having a problem with Linked Variations. I use the Polylang Pro plugin, it makes a multilingual website. And when I make variations from simple products, for some reason the name of the attribute by which I sort the product is not translated. Something is blocking the translation. At the same time, when I create a variable product, the attributes are translated when the site language changes.
I hope I was able to describe the problem 🙂

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
In this case, is there any chance that you could give me access to the dashboard area so I can have a look at the settings on your website, please?
Kind Regards

lebedenko.maximParticipantI’m sorry. My mistake =)

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
To make changes now for the variation title, you need to edit each product and set translation for the title manually – https://prnt.sc/B6coSGGajavm, it’s because you have created products manually with such a title. If you want to make product where the title will be changed manually based on the variation title from Products -> Attributes, you need to use the “Linked Variation” with the “Show single variation” option – https://prnt.sc/ngx4M8pNlQJh
Let me know if you have additional questions.
Kind Regards

lebedenko.maximParticipantI most likely didn’t explain it correctly. The problem is a little different.
When I create products and combine them with the help of a related variation, then when I change the language, the name of the output attribute by which the product is related does not change. Below are screenshots.Language 1
https://prnt.sc/6EqoQFD4HQlaLanguage 2
https://prnt.sc/2FA684FOfOD-May 17, 2024 at 10:18 am #566204
lebedenko.maximParticipantForgot to add. If you create a variable product and display it also using this attribute, then its name changes.

lebedenko.maximParticipantBelow I have attached 2 more screenshots to make it clear what I’m talking about. This is a variable product. Everything works in it.

lebedenko.maximParticipantI also discovered a problem. When creating a variation using “Linked Variations”, when searching for a product, not all products with the same name are found. There should be 5 products, but of different colors, there is only 1. It is not searched by SKU, nor is it searched by ID. Tell me, maybe I turned something off in the wrong place?
Thank you in advance!Attachments:

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
I apologize for the delay.
Please clarify how you have translated it for the variable products (the “color” title)?
I await your response.
Kind Regards

lebedenko.maximParticipantScreenshot No. 1 shows how attributes are translated. The name for any active language is indicated separately. I even added a copy of the “color” attribute (You can see it in screenshot No. 2), I thought maybe I was doing something wrong.
But the fact is that in the product characteristics the attribute is translated. You can switch on any product and see its characteristics, they are translated everywhere.
I created a test variable product (screenshot #3), not “Linked Variations”. And in ordinary variable products, attributes are translated normally. It seems that the attribute name when selecting “Linked Variations” is displayed in some other way.I tried to explain as best I could. =)

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
The developers fixed that issue on your side, in general, in the next update that fix will be added globally.
