Problem with Page Setting (custom metabox from theme)

I am experiencing an issue with the theme’s custom page metabox (“Page Setting” / custom metabox from theme).

Here is the problem:

• When I create a new page, the “Page Setting” metabox appears correctly under Screen Options and is visible on the edit screen.
• However, as soon as I click “Edit with Elementor” and then return to the standard WordPress edit screen, the “Page Setting” metabox disappears completely.
• It is no longer available in Screen Options either.

This behavior happens consistently on all pages. Additionally, the demo pages that were imported with the theme do not display the “Page Setting” metabox at all, even before editing them with Elementor. They are missing the metabox immediately after import.

Important notes:

• I tested with a fresh installation of the theme.
• I restored backups to ensure no corrupted files.
• I deactivated all non-essential plugins.
• The issue persists even with a clean theme setup and only Elementor active.

It appears that once a page is marked as “built with Elementor”, the theme no longer registers or displays its custom page metabox.

Could you please confirm:

Is this expected behavior?

Is there a way to keep the theme’s Page Setting metabox available even when using Elementor?

Is there a setting or required companion plugin that enables per-page theme options alongside Elementor?

Hello,

I have confirmed this behavior on our test site. When a page is edited with Elementor, the theme’s Page Settings are no longer shown in the standard WordPress editor.

Instead, those options become available inside Elementor itself. You can access them by:

Clicking “Edit with Elementor” > Clicking the Page Settings in the Top-left corner and there you will see the available layout and page-related options.
