Hi everyone! About two months ago, I switched my website theme from Astra to Woodmart, and since then, I’ve been experiencing issues with indexing. Links have been gradually disappearing from Google’s search index.

I’ve already hired specialists to check everything, and all settings seem to be correct: the sitemap, robots.txt file, and other technical aspects are properly configured. There’s no apparent reason why Google wouldn’t index the site. Google crawls the pages but doesn’t add them to the index.

Could this just be a matter of time, or could the issue be related to using the Woodmart theme? Has anyone encountered a similar situation?

I’d really appreciate any advice or insights!

    Hello,

The issues you’re experiencing with Google indexing your website after switching to the Woodmart theme are likely related to SEO factors rather than the theme itself.

While the theme itself may not directly cause indexing problems, changes in design or functionality can inadvertently affect SEO settings. Review any changes made during the theme switch that might impact SEO configurations.

If your site is relatively new or has undergone significant changes, it may take time for Google to re-crawl and index your pages fully. Patience is sometimes necessary as Google adjusts its indexing process

    Best Regards.
