clickcompanyParticipantHello.
We are experiencing a problem with the display of variants. We have noticed that the out-of-stock variants are not displayed in the same way
Correct example:
Incorrect example:Basically, sizes 4-5-6-7-8-9-10 are sold out in all colours of both products and should be displayed with the grey bar. But as can be seen in the incorrect example, this is not the case.
The woocommerce settings are identical for both products. How can we solve this problem?

clickcompanyParticipantHere are the 2 products, whose variations are displayed differently.

Hung PhamKeymasterHi clickcompany,
Navigate to Products > Attributes > edit attribute > Choose the disabled swatch. The disabled Swatch style is for the variants of the Products which are disabled not for the Out of Stock variants. So, you need to have the variant of the Product not checked with the Enable option on it and then the Disabled Swatch style will work accordingly.

clickcompanyParticipantHello, perhaps I have not been understood.
In the case of product https://andralingerie.it/prodotto/camicia-da-notte-in-viscosa-e-raso-satin/, without selecting any variations, I already see the sold-out sizes, from size 3 to 10 (attachment)
On product https://andralingerie.it/prodotto/camicia-da-notte-in-viscosa-e-pizzo-5/ I do not get the same result, although from size 4 to 10 they are all sold out, for any colour.

Hung PhamKeymasterHi clickcompany,
1. Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront to understand is it our theme issue or not?
2. You also should deactivate all plugins (except Required Plugins) and then reactivate them one by one. This makes it very easy to isolate the plugin causing problems.

clickcompanyParticipantHello
Unfortunately, we have removed all plugins, but none of them appear to be the cause of this malfunction.
Even changing the theme did not help, because the storefront theme does not display variations with buttons like Woodmart, but simply with a drop-down menu, so the error is no longer visible. The problem remains. In some products, sold-out variations are immediately shown with a grey bar, while in other products you have to click on them first to find out that they are sold out.

Hung PhamKeymasterHi clickcompany,
Would you mind if I deactivate extra plugins for testing? Please confirm me back.
Thanks for your patience.

clickcompanyParticipantOf course, the important thing is to reactivate them immediately afterwards, to avoid any problems, because it is a very visited site.

Hung PhamKeymasterHi clickcompany,
You can create a dev site and import any template there. Devsite – also called a Staging platform where you can test issues, enable/disable features/plugins thus such changes will affect the main site. The below article will help you to create it:

clickcompanyParticipantHello, considering the store’s current holiday period, you can now proceed with the changes directly on the main site without creating a staging environment.
Let’s proceed with deactivating the plugins and changing the theme directly on the main site.
You have already received the admin credentials. Please keep us updated on the steps.
Thank you very much.August 6, 2025 at 1:07 pm #678286
Hung PhamKeymasterHi clickcompany,
You need to increase the
AJAX variation threshold
value under Theme Settings > Shop > Variable products: https://prnt.sc/x_BOGCelUZQ7. Then check back on your site and check the issue.Best Regards,
