eridiovanimpe1@gmail.comParticipantHello,
Since I’ve updated my plugin, my site is failing frequently or is very slow. I’ve deactivated all my plugins and tested them one by one. I’ve noticed the problem is when both Woodmart Core and WPBakery Builder Plugin are activated. I’ve tried different things and also noticed the same fault with Elementor and Woodmart Core plugin.
I’ve seen #697193 with the same problem.Best regards

December 3, 2025 at 4:49 pm #699028Hello,
Thank you so much for contacting our support center.
To better assist you, could you kindly test the functionality with default WordPress themes such as TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront? This will help us determine whether the issue stems from our theme or elsewhere.
Regards

eridiovanimpe1@gmail.comParticipantI have done it with Twenty Twenty four theme. With this theme I have nog problems and my pages are loading quickly, so the issue must be with Woodmart Core.
December 3, 2025 at 6:58 pm #699040Please record a short video comparing the default theme and WoodMart and demonstrating the issue so we can easily reproduce this.

eridiovanimpe1@gmail.comParticipantHello,
With the default theme, my website is loading normally. With the Woodmart Theme, my site gets this notice I’ve added in the documents. I can give you login details of my website if necessary.

alex28ParticipantCan confirm, happens to me too. Started happening after website auto updated to WP 6.9 last night. CPU goes to 100%
December 3, 2025 at 8:50 pm #699054
eridiovanimpe1@gmail.comParticipantIt seems like we are not the only ones. I found this: https://www.reddit.com/r/Wordpress/comments/1pd35y4/wordpress_69_is_causing_permanent_100_cpu_usage/
Here are several other people who have the same problem with wp6.9 update and Woodmart Theme.Attachments:

alex28ParticipantApparently people there downgraded to 6.8.3 . Did you try that?
December 3, 2025 at 9:10 pm #699059
eridiovanimpe1@gmail.comParticipantYes, it worked. It isn’t 100 % like it should be, but it is usable for now.
December 3, 2025 at 9:12 pm #699060
alex28ParticipantThanks for the info. How did you downgrade?
December 3, 2025 at 9:13 pm #699061
eridiovanimpe1@gmail.comParticipantI installed the WP downgrade plugin. This link explains how is is easily done.

alex28ParticipantThanks man. Hope a fix is released soon.
December 4, 2025 at 12:14 pm #699172
eridiovanimpe1@gmail.comParticipantJust a quick update: Even with downgrading to WP 6.8.3 this problem comes back. I’ve seen solution on reddit link, but I am not ITC expert enough to implement code.
Do you have a solution in the meantime @artemtemos?December 4, 2025 at 1:11 pm #699199Hello,
You can fix it by applying patch #
699195. To do this, go to Dashboard -> WoodMart -> Patcher, find the corresponding patch and click on the “Apply” button. Let us know if it works for you.Kind Regards
December 4, 2025 at 1:25 pm #699208
eridiovanimpe1@gmail.comParticipantHello,
It worked. Hopefully it is fully solved. With the downgrade it worked for only 5 miutes. I will respon by the end of the day if everything still works perfectly

eridiovanimpe1@gmail.comParticipantNevermind, by the time I wrote this comment, my site is back down again.
December 4, 2025 at 1:28 pm #699211
eridiovanimpe1@gmail.comParticipantI’m going to update my database and let everything do it’s job. Maybe it is the updates and database update that is taking up so much space right now
December 4, 2025 at 2:43 pm #699234
alex28ParticipantYes, the CPU seems to be still 100%, with patch applied.

eridiovanimpe1@gmail.comParticipantMy site is back down again from time to time. I get this message:
wood-o-background.svg:1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 ()
How to fix this?
December 8, 2025 at 11:49 am #699780Hi,
Could you please send us a link to your website where we can see this issue?
Kind Regards
December 8, 2025 at 11:57 am #699790
eridiovanimpe1@gmail.comParticipantHello,
I have contacted my hosting partner (Combell) to do a SPAM check and a full service of my website. I had my website reset to 30.11.2025 when I didn’t have any problems and the updates weren’t done. It worked well for 1 day and then the problem returned, even though I didn’t upgrade to WP6.9. So I hope they can find the problem. I will let you know if they were able to fix it.
Best regards
