Problem with Woodmart Filters Not Closing and can’t choose multiple and reset

    I’m reaching out for a bit of assistance with some quirks I’ve encountered using the Woodmart theme on my site, specifically around the filters on the shop page.

    Here’s what’s happening:

    The filter sections are always open and won’t budge. The arrows meant to open/close them don’t showing. Tried the settings in theme settings>product archive> widget/sidebar but nothing

    I can’t seem to select multiple filter options, which is a bit of a bummer for user experience. It limits the flexibility for customers to refine their searches.

    Clicking the reset button is unexpectedly sending users back to the homepage instead of just clearing the selected filters.

    1. Okay, I see that you set an appropriate option in Theme Settings: https://take.ms/77sPd , but it is not working. May I disable 3rd party plugins and enable the parent theme for a proper investigation?

    2. Send me a video example of when you are unable to select multiple filter options.

    3. Also, needs permission for disabling plugins/child theme to test the “Clear filter” functionality properly.

    Theme and Customizations: The live website currently runs on an older version of the theme because updating resulted in conflicts with my CSS customizations, particularly affecting the sticky menu. However, I have installed the latest version of the theme locally to address these customization conflicts. It’s important to note that the filter issue persists even in the latest version, indicating that it is not related to the theme version. This discovery allows us to focus on the problem without concerning the theme update.
    Permissions and Documentation: Please feel free to disable third-party plugins and switch to the parent theme as needed for a thorough investigation. I only ask that you document the changes made during this process. This documentation is crucial for me in case I need to revert any changes for troubleshooting. I trust that your adjustments will not negatively impact the site’s functionality or appearance.
    Further Actions:
    Video Example: I will provide a video example showcasing the inability to select multiple filter options as soon as possible.

    Hello,

    1, 2. “Select multiple filter options” and “Collapse widgets” issues: the issue is in the weird widget that you use to show the attributes. I have defined the “WoodMart WooCommerce Layered Nav” widget and the filter started to work well, also, the “Collapse widget” option started to work well with our “WoodMart WooCommerce Layered Nav” widget.

    Also, I see that you have defined the “Shop filters” in the sidebar: https://take.ms/NVh3M , unfortunately, it’s not right, in that sidebar you need to use the “Shop page Widget Area”: https://take.ms/XGVDm, because the “Shop filters” designed to show above the products grid so when it is defined in the sidebar, it could cause some issues.

    Also, remove this custom CSS to show the filters correctly, here is a video: https://take.ms/wlNVK

    3. By using our “WoodMart WooCommerce Layered Nav” widget, I do not see the issues related to the “Clear filter” functionality: https://take.ms/Nch0z

    I changed everything back, so with the above instructions you can reproduce the solution (tested on the latest update and with the required plugins).

    Ok Mate, 90% working fine as you can see from the screenshot. Only problem left is the clear filter still taking me to the homepage. If I cancel a single filter is fine. The plugin you told me is deactivated. So I can’t see where the problem could be
