PROBLEME WPBAKERY

Dear,

I contact you because since this morning I have a problem with the plugin WPBakery Page Builder.

Unable to access my site since this morning, a 504 error page is displayed.

After contacting my host and checked with him that there was no problem on their side, I just found that the problem comes from the plugin WPBAKERY. When I disabled this one I can once again access my site with the Shortcode not active.

How can I correct this problem? I tried to uninstall and re-inroom the plugin, the problem persists.

Make sure you have updated the plugin, the recent version is 5.5.2.

1. Upload the recent version of the theme from Themeforest account.

2. Navigate to Plugins and deactivate the current plugin, you will see “Delete option”, delete the current plugin

3. Upload the plugin archive from theme/inc/plugins/js_composer via Plugin > Add new > Upload > install > activate

My plugin is already update at the 5.5.2 version… but when i’m trying to go to my Homepage it doesn’t work and display a 504 error page…

504 Internal Error says about some issue on the server and can be caused by different things. Anyway, to understand its nature you need to see your server error logs or enable PHP error display on the website. If you can’t do this, you need to contact your hosting provider for help in this question. As I have already stated above I have already made contact with my host and localized that the problem came from the plugin WPBAKERY only at the level of my homepage. So the problem is on the template side and not on the server.

For information, if I change the homepage by default I can again have access to my site… Thank you for explaining how to fix this problem as soon as possible.

Yes, but we meant that you can check your error logs since if you see 504 error then it should be some PHP error in your logs.

But there errors seems to be not related to PHP, did you consult with your hosting provider regarding these problems? We don’t see any errors related to WPBakery or our theme in these logs.

Yes our host has already checked. This comes necessarily on your side, if I change the Homepage and I activate the “Home Basic “, the website works again but my configuration is lost… If I reactivate my home page on the one I configured, the site crashes and a page 504 appears..

Very strange, but if you checked with your host, so what do all these errors mean? Usually, if there is a problem with the theme or with plugin the PHP error arises. But in your logs, we don’t know where these errors are coming from.
