customcreationParticipantCSS Gen: Even if I select all the option the site breaks (front end). Everything gets messed up as if no CSS is defined.
Image Scaling: example with element “promo banner” when I add an image and define Image size it does not scale down the image. example I am using an 800×800 image for my product page and when i try to use the same image using the promo banner elsewhere on the website and size it to 200×200 the image just distorts/pixelates but the size remains 800×800

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
As you said that you selected all the options inside CSS generator but still everything gets messed up. Just unchecked the “RTL Language” option under the “EXTRA CONFIGURATION” from WoodMart >> CSS Generator and then check back once after clearing your site and browser cache.

The option of “Image size” inside the promo banner element set the image quality by specifying the selected image size, that’s why when we used lower size the pixels blurred and when we used the large and full image size, the image shown more clear. If you want to change the actual height and width of image then you have to edit your image with some photo editing tool and change its actual resolutions. So in your case the actual image size is “800*800” but you set image scale size as “200*200” that’s why the image just distorts/pixelates.
Best Regards.

customcreationParticipantHi,
I have already done some troubleshooting before raising this. The CSS generator stopped working after the previous update.
1) All plugins disable except those required by the theme (woodmart and woocommerce)
2) Disable child theme
3) Not using any security, cache or performance plugins nor CDN right now. always use Ctrl+f5 to refresh
4) RTL was never enabled (I did try to enable then generate then disable and generate again)January 4, 2020 at 11:13 am #166232
customcreationParticipantAs for the banner issue I cropped the image to 300×300 and still comes out huge and distorted (see attachment). This is applied everywhere and too other elements.
1) Demo import, works fine, replace image from the demo then distorts
2) Create new HTML block or just use page builder for a new page post, image gets distorted no matter what the size.
3) Give specific dimensions example 200×200 or write “medium or large or full does not matter same result.January 4, 2020 at 1:08 pm #166255
Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Your provided login details are incorrect. Do you set 300×300 size in promo banner settings? Or the actual resolutions of image is 300×300? You forget to share screenshots.
1) Most of the images comes with demo shown blurred by default and you have to replace your own images. Try with your own images and then check.
2) Share screenshots of page by pointing out the section where you used some images and they did not look fine and looked distorted.
3) As I described you in my prior message that putting the specific dimensions for example 200×200 or write “medium or large or full, just affect the quality of images not changed the actual size of image in front end. For example if you use 200* 200 the quality will be low and image looks a little blurry and if you use 600* 600 or something greater than 200 then you will see the quality of image improves accordingly and it looks very clear not blurry.
Best Regards.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Is these are ftp details, I thought you shared admin login credentials to access your site dashboard area for testing of promo banner images.
I do not need your ftp login details. I want your admin login credentials because your site is under maintenance mode, I can’t visit your site and did not inspect your banner images.
Best Regards.

Your site in under maintenance mode, I can not access your site to check the CSS generator issue. Also link for the promo banner is not accessible it redirects me to the “Coming Soon” page. Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Your problem is resolved, now the CSS file is loading and your site looks just perfectly fine. Actually the WordPress Address and Site URL inside the general settings of your site, was not the same.

About the Promo Banner issue you are using the banner images which is too much smaller in size. Try to upload the picture in higher resolution, so this image will not look blurry and distorted.
