Hi. I’m currently trying to change the permalinks for the blog element of my site. i ould like all categories for posts and posts themselves to be styled like this;
example.com/blog/postname
example.com/blog/categoryname
instead of;
example.com/postname
example.com/categoryname
I’ve tried to update this through the permalinks section in wordpress but something appears to be going wrong as the category is working but the posts just keep throwing a 404 not found. Then when I reverse the category section the posts work. It appears that permalinks aren’t working as they should be.
If you could please advice what’s happening it would be much appreciated. Thank you
