    Hi,

I recently purchased the Thrive Leads plugin to help with email capture and list building. However after it didn’t work and consulting with their team, it turns out that this is a problem with the Woodmart theme. This is a popular plugin so I imagine other users may have come across this problem.

I have attached the explanation and the screenshot mentioned is below:

    Can you help resolve this?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Please, describe to us your problems in a bit more details. Attach some screenshots and provide us with a list of steps on how to reproduce it on your website. Also, send us your admin and FTP access.

    Thank you in advance.

When trying to edit the design of a new sign up form using the Thrive Leads plugin, I get the attached screenshot – and this loading does not stop.

After contacting the support team for the plugin they sent across the below:

This is something that should be rectified with the theme support team apparently –

“Please take note that all our Thrive Themes products are built according to the WordPress Codex standards hence we recommend you to contact the “Woodmart” theme developers and have them take a look at this issue for you.”

I have also filled in login details for you to have a look.

Strange, we are not able edit any files on the server. Seems that there is some kind of cache for JS files. Please, disable it first.

Gotcha, and while we cannot disable caching for a site on a shared server I can recommend to provide the following article to your developer: https://wpengine.com/support/development-workflow-best-practices/

versioning files such as CSS and JS are best practices to see updated changes without impacting server load with uncached requests
