Product categories widget

The product categories widget has a check-box that says show only children of current category its ticked but it shows all the categories not just the children.

Bonus: if you have a way to make the sidebar sticky. id appreciate some help with that as well

This is Woocommerce widget, please check the issue on one of the default themes to understand where our theme causes the problem.

i cant do that as the site is live

It is the way this widget works and we can’t change this behavior since it doesn’t depend on our theme.

is there another plugin/widget you can suggest that does the same ajax type of filtering but does what i want to do?

Sorry, but there is no other plugins for that. You can try to use our categories shop menu in the page title instead. You can configure it in Theme Settings -> Shop -> Sidebar & Page title.
