product category elements

hi, we’re using your product category elements, and we noticed that if the category is empty, the element shows correctly the category image, if there are products inside it shows the image of one product. How can we have only the product images displayed?

in addition to what written before, I also say that using that element created a big mass on the page. all the “custom quesries” setup in the other elements in the same page shows products and not the image of the category.
If you look at the page (test.acinolilla.com) also the elements on top om the page (printscreen attached of the configuration) is a mass. please help to fix it

The “Product category” element shows the image that was defined via Products -> Categories -> Thumbnail.

In your case, they are defined and the “Product category” shows it correctly.

Is it possible that your theme, not seeing an image for the category has filled it with a category product?
Because we use FIFU plugin to handle all our product and category images normally

In general, it’s impossible because if you don’t have an image for the category, the category displays the default image as on the below screenshot.
