product catergory filters

hello there how are you ? im currently making my filter/sidebar for seperate pages . and i want to add categories to my filter sidebar but i do not want to add all of the product catergories i only want to show certain categories ? how is this possible which widget is needed to do this ? or do i have to use a plug in if so which plug in is best compatable to do this using the woodmart theme many thanks ki

The Product Categories shown here are added through a widget Product Categories that can be found under the Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets > Shop page Widget area > there, you can find that: https://postimg.cc/Lhkkxpk8
But currently, this default Widget doesn’t contain an option to show or hide specific Categories, unfortunately.
If there is some specific Category that you want to hide on the Sidebar, then kindly mention that with your Site URL so that we can check and provide you with the Custom CSS in this regard, if applicable.

Hello aizaz the thing is I have multiple diffrent categories that I need to hide from here as my store is a big store . So what would be the next best option ? A plug in maybe ? If so which one is best with woodmart ?

You need to find a third-party plugin to achieve more functionality that best suits you. We have not tested any with our theme, so we cannot guarantee any.
