Product column view on Mobile

Hi,
I want to give the option on mobile to choose between 1 or 2 product columns when browsing the product archive.

I have tried to add “2” to thethe Available products columns variations in Theme settings > Products grid.

and then I added the product view element on product archive layout but when I select display 2 columns, nothing happens? do you have a fix?

the site is live so i have created a staging and provided login link.

I just want to have a selector that goes bewteen single and 2 column view for product archive. if you could explain fix and I will apply to live website.

Edit that layout page and the “Product columns” field set as “2”, then recheck the issue.

yes but this is not how I want as the first view must be 1 column not 2 and I do not want to change back to list as this is not the same look as 2 column view.

Can you suggest this function in update please ?

In this case, set the “List/Grid” value for the “Shop products view” – https://prnt.sc/LU08j3m57ZAp, then the list will be loaded first.
