    Hi Woodmart-Team

I’ve seen this question asked by many users here in the forum and i wonder if it’s still not possible to filter my shop products by «tags». And by that i mean the same way i can filter categorys, not the rather useless tag-cloud that is provided by woocommerce as a widget.

If this is still not possible i have a follow-up question:
Is it possible to configure the category filter so that it will show only some of the available categorys, not all?

    kind regards
    Chris

    Hi BPP,

    Thanks for reaching to us.

Unfortunately, right now there is no options for Filtering by tags and Selecting specific categories for filtering. You can create a ticket here: https://woodmart.canny.io/feature-requests so our developers will consider such a feature.

    That’s unfortunate…

I’ve added feature requests but i’m still looking for an acceptable workaround for my usecase.

I need to be able to show atleast 3 different propertys of my products so that they can be accessed seperatly from each other via the navigation and the Product-Filters as well.

For the first property i can use the product categories. I could add more of the propertys there but i don’t want it to show up in the same Filter-Module and there is no way only to filter for some.

Tags would be great and can be shown i n the navigation but there’s no filter-module for it

Product-Propertys work great for filtering but expect for the specialiced «brand»-module the elements i can add to the navigation via an html block seem to work only if i’m already on a Product archive and will then filter further. So if i’m on the homepage and want to filter directly for that attribute it won’t work, the dropdown is empty.

Can you come up with a good solution for me?

    Hi BPP,

    Thanks for your patience.

For specialized assistance and potential solutions, I kindly suggest that you reach out directly to the WooCommerce plugin’s support team https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/, who are better equipped to provide you with the guidance you requires or You need to find a third party plugin to achieve more functionality that best suits you.
