Product Gallery not showing and Problems with Zoom

Hello,
I do have two problems on my product detail page:

1.) I have uploaded many pictures for the same product (one main image and many more in the product gallery). In the settings I chose “Thumbnail position (vertical)”.
However, it just shows the main picture on the product page.

2.) I have disabled the Zoom of the product image as it is disturbing in Theme Settings – Product Page – Image. However, when I am on scrolling over the image on the product page it still opens up the zoom on the right side of the image.
