Product Grid/style background not changing

Hello,
We are using the Furniture 2 Theme and we have removed the defult background and instead added a white baground to all the pages.
We would want to change the Product grid background, but it seems that it is not working.
Please see attach images.
We have chnaged to a slight gray background color in the theme settings, but it seems that it does nothing.
