I am using the “Product (grid or carousel)” element on my home page. The problem is we automatically hide out of stock products from our webshop via the WooCommerce settings. This means that in our product carousel on the home page we often have empty product spaces where an out of stock product is being pulled in.

Is there any way we can have a filter to stop out of stock products being pulled in to the product carousel? Or any other option to have an automated product carousel on the home page without displaying empty spaces for out of stock items? Thanks

    Thanks

    Hello,

Could you please clarify if you have these empty spaces in the carousel only or do you see them in your shop catalog and category pages?

    Kind Regards

Hello. Only in the carousel. On the Woocmmerce shop pages the products disappear from the catalogue completely (category pages) as soon as their stock reaches 0. You can find the setting in:

WooCommerce > Products > Inventory > Hide out of stock items from the catalog

The issue is only in the product carousel element (I am guessing WP Bakery??) which pulls in products which are out of stock into the carousel display, which is an issue for us as it is not good UX.

Try to enable the following option in your product elements added with WPBakery also and test how it works https://gyazo.com/f2563d76b95d0d4ac3ad9ae2f8db864e

Oh perfect! I did not even realise that option existed. Thank you so much. Greatly appreciated.
