Product image is cropped in shop

The product view in the shop is cropped and makes the products look bad (screen 1 attached).
Is it possible to get the product to show full width(as in screen 2 attached) and the height to be cropped?

I hoped I can do the trick with css but as you can see in the attached screen no. 3, the image is already cropped in html.

It is important to show the full product in the shop.
