Product image not changing when product variation selected

I’ve created a “variable product” in Woocommerce with multiple variations on a colour attribute and have uploaded separate images for variable products. However, when I select the different variations in the drop-down on the product detail page, the image shown in the gallery area does not change.

I notice it is working with your demo here:

Although in your demo, you appear to be using colour swatches. I just want to use the text-based dropdowns.

In case it’s some other plugin providing this functionality, can you let me know all the plugins that are installed with your demo site?

Thanks for the reply. However, the color variation attribute I’m trying to change is not a global one as in the documentation link.

You can change global attributes here: /wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=product&page=product_attributes

But I’m trying to change a product-specific variation on edit product screen. Each of my products will have different colour options and associated images, so I can’t use global attributes. See attached screenshot. I’ve provided admin details and URL in private content so you can get more info.

I am very sorry however swatches and image change are possible only for the global attributes.

There is no option to change this, unfortunately.
