Product images gallery

Hi there. I need A LOT of images in my products, specifically for variations. Over 100 images. I would like to ask how the gallery works in that case. Does it load all the images when the page loads or it loads the variation images AFTER the variation is selected?

It loads the images after selecting the swatches provided that you do not have the selected swatch by default.

thanks fir getting back that fast!
so… just to be clear… if i have 100 variations and an image to each one (so 100 images) it will not load theme when i view the page. It will only load the photos when i select the exact variation.
